University of Denver's "IdioSINGcrasies"

IdioSINGcrasies

The DU Idiosingcrasies was founded in late 2005. They are a select group of beautiful and talented men and women who just can't help but frequently burst out into song. With just over a year of experience singing together, their sound is molding and they are improving everyday. Complete with new talent and some old veterans, they are prepared to tackle any vocal challenge that comes their way. IdioSINGcrasies is influenced by all music, from Musiq Soulchild, to Fall out Boy, to Dave Mathews Band, and Michael Jackson, they cover it all. In the coming years they plan on leading Collegiate A Cappella in the region by setting the standard for Collegiate A Capppella.

University of Colorado's "Mile 21"

Mile 21

Mile Twenty WHAT? Representing the 303 area code from a mile above sea level, Mile 21 sets the pace for collegiate A Cappella. No rhymes are rented, no lyrics leased; they light the stage on fire with vocal pyrotechnics. Venturing to where none have gone before, Mile 21 has found new colors of the human voice. Be careful, you might hear something you never have before. There's nothing quite like Mile 21, not even another Mile 21-er. No two people on stage are the same. Different voices, different styles, and one hot, new sound. And yeah, they're that good looking! Mile 21, baby!

Colorado College's "Back Row"

Back Row

In the fall of 2003 a group of Colorado College singers, passionate about creating an all male a cappella group, decided to embark on building a groupo at the college. Founder (and freshman at the time) Ian Goldstein advertised flyers on the CC campus seeking interest in all-male a cappella group, and with a strong turnout held auditions to chose the first ever Back Row lineup. They released their debut album in 2006, a culmination of a year long process of self-recording the entire album theirselves, to which they recived national recognition and accolades, paving their way in the national a cappella community.

University of Colorado's "In the Buff"

In the Buff

The early hours of January 26th, 1994 marked a significant (if a bit groggy) opening chapter in the life of In The Buff with two members, Dodge Rea and Curt Siffert. Since those early days, In the Buff has grown to fourteen people, holding the respect among the University of Colorado's populace as great a cappella entertainers. Remember, it's always better In the Buff!

CSU Fort Collins "Resonant RAMblings"

Resonant RAMblings

Colorado State University's first (and only) a cappella group, the Resonant RAMblings, was founded in 2000 by then-CSU student Mike Santos. The Resonant RAMblings is an official student organization at CSU. Since 2000, the group has worked hard in becoming well-known with the population at CSU and in Fort Collins, and also with the university a cappella scene within colorado (which is very concentrated much further south than CSU!) They have also managed to put out a CD in their short span. The group looks forward to building their presence a lot more and becoming a big part of Colorado A Cappella!

You can visit Resonant RAMbling's website at www.resonantramblings.com.
